So I finally got to compete in the mini. Was it everything I ever wanted it to be? In a way. The car handles and drives absolutely brilliantly. The steering and feel is incredible. The power delivery is smooth. Although, when going up a hill ... there isn't really any power. This thing was downright SLOW going up the mountain. Through the curves though, it was a blast; I didn't ever really need to lift, except for the hairpins.
Here's an in car video of the poor thing struggling against gravity for 3 minutes and 15 seconds.

Looks like a blast matey, and your lines look pretty clean too. I suppose it's better to focus on lines than having your pants scared off by driving a hovercraft, isn't it? It's also great that a) your car works and b) your car works.
So next week is the hill descent?
p.s. who's diff exploded?
Yes, it is wonderful to have a car that goes when I want it to! It was Bill's diff that asploded. He was putting too much power through it. Haw!
Dang Adam, that was amazing. I was scared several times it looked as if the turns came up so suddenly, thought you'd tip over.

That looks like alot of fun. On the power how often do you plan on doing a hill climb?
